Summer Reading

Coming THIS Summer!!!

Parents: During the last week of school, your child will receive a 10 Week Summer Reading Calendar. NOTE: There’s a K-2nd calendar as well as a 3rd-5th calendar. Our goal is to promote reading Monday through Friday each week that we are on summer vacation by providing students with a 20-30 minute reading activity and rewarding them on Saturday/Sunday. We have partnered with area businesses to provide a FREE incentive each weekend throughout summer. Your job is to ensure that your student(s) does their daily assignment, and initial off acknowledging they gave their best effort. At the end of each week, take your student (and their calendar) to the area business to claim the free incentive. Calendars will also be available on the Fairmount Webpage.
