Summer Reading Ideas 

 


Summer Reading Program
Sponsored by St. Charles County Library's Friends of the Library. Earn prizes from the public library and be entered in drawings for other prizes. Visit any library branch to sign up (http://www.youranswerplace.org/).  

Program runs from June 2 through July 31. This is how students get the extra book incentive the following school year. 

 

Fairmount Summer Reading Bingo—Sponsored by Fairmount Learning Commons. Read books to complete at least one row of the attached bingo sheet. This is how students get the extra book incentive the following school year. Bring the form to the Learning Commons when the new school year begins. 

 

 

Picture Yourself Reading Where do you like to read during the summer? Have Mom or Dad take a photo of you (or even your whole family) reading and email the photo to Mrs. Hendricks  (sandra.hendricks@fhsdschools.org). 

 

Fourth and Fifth graders for the 2016-2017 school year: Read books from the Mark Twain list and take the online quizzes on Fairmount Learning Commons website:

EBooks – You can access Fairmount Learning Common's eBooks by either going to: Find a book

OR Downloading the Brytewave app to your phone or device (it’s free).

There will be a snow-cone party for those students who finish at least one summer reading program!
